Maria was born in Athens in 1972. She studied Midwifery at Technological Education Institute in Athens and continued her studies in a postgraduate level in National School of Public Health, in subject of applied Public Health. She did her PhD Thesis in University of Peloponnese Department of Nursing and obtained her PhD in European Academy of Nursing Sciences. She worked for more than 15 years in public and private hospitals, providing midwifery care. From 2001 until today she has been working as a Lecture in Midwifery Department with high educational and administrative work. She participated as researcher in national and european programs of UNIWA and UOP. Listed below publications/announcements (peer reviewed) during the last 2 years.
